Miau (Meow in Portuguese)

Feliz aniversário, Geri Halliwell. Gostaria muito de parabenizá-la pessoalmente. Como não é possível, eis aqui mais uma postagem de um trabalho meu, referente a você. 

A história é a seguinte. Em minha adolescência, meus amigos que também desenhavam sempre tinham em seu acervo de mulheres sexies, um desenho da mulher-gato. Eu sei, é super icônico, bacana e tal, mas eu também queria fazer uma mulher-gato que tivesse um diferencial marcante. Eu fiz. Vermelha, capeta, ginger, apimentada.

Quem sabe Gothan City não esteja precisando de uma mulher gato assim?

Happy Birthday, Geri Halliwell. I wish I could say that  face to face, but as it´s not possible, here it goes another post with a drawing of you.
Well here´s the story: in my teen ages, my drawer friends had always a drawing of catwoman in their sketchbook and I would like to have mine, but out of all cliches, I made GERI as catwoman...ALL RED, ALL GINGER, ALL DEVILISH, ALL GINGER, ALL SPICED! Maybe Gothan City is missing a Catwoman like that.

Toda vez que eu via esse vídeo, eu só tinha olhos pra ela: Ginger.

Então esse é mais um de vários desenhos que eu fiz dela. Eu não me cansava de desenhá-la.

Sério. Em tudo que era caderno ou papel na minha frente, eu começava a rabiscar e lá estava uma figura que se não era ela, acabava se parecendo muito. Quem ela pensa que é pra bagunçar minha cabeça assim? Risos.

In every page of my notebook, pad or any paper in front of me, if I started sketching randomly, it used to be her, or someone looking like. Who do Geri think she is to mess my mind this way? LOL

Schizophonic

Parece que foi ontem...as Spice Girls se separaram e minha spice favorita foi embora. Não demorou muito e apareceu um album seu nas lojas. Era o Schizophnic. Eu quis comprar de qualquer maneira. E acabei fazendo no papel o meu próprio registro da capa daquele CD.O ano era 2000.

It seems like yesterday that the Spice Girls splitted up and my fave spice has gone. Not too late, a new album was avaliable around. The Geri Halliwell first album, Schizophonic. I wanted it so bad that when I got it I could not resist drawing her as the CD cover. It was on 2000

Ainda lembro o dia em que fiz isso. Eu estava muito puto com minha mãe (pra variar) e para me distrair um pouco, me joguei no papel, lápis de cor, tintas e hidrocores. E não é que gostei do resultado?
